What games totally nail the ending? (Gaming)
The most obvious one that comes to mind for me is The Last of Us, which haunts me to this day (and hits me every time I replay the game).
I assume you are talking about narrative endings, as opposed to the quality of the final encounter.Metal Gear Solid 3 is right up there with Last of Us in my opinion. It's very emotional, offers fantastic closure, and says so much with so little.
I really liked BioShock Infinite's ending. One of my great regrets is that I haven't played The Last of Us.
