Everybody ok down there?

Yeah, we're fine. We are actually still in Southern California for Christmas, but I talked to my next door neighbor and he said our block is intact.

My brother and his family were also gone, and returned home last night just shortly after the storms calmed down. The tornado hit closer to their area, but their neighborhood was also fine.

We have some friends from church that are not quite as fortunate though. They are also out of town - so no injuries - but their houses is pretty destroyed. Our best friends live just a block or so away from them and were completely fine. Funny how tornadoes can destroy a few homes, then not even scratch a few, then demolish a few more - all on the same street, huh?

Anyways, we're all good and heading back home tomorrow. Thanks for thinking of us!
