</blockquote><p>I think his point is that disabling is disproportionately easy compared to disabling. Two disables are worth 30% more than one capture and are much more than 50% easier than achieving a single capture.</p>
<p>His narrative lines up with my (very minimal) experience with the gametype; attempting a lot of captures generally results in a low success rate, and an opposing team can win without ever attempting one.</p>

<p>Also - I totally got match made with you tonight... Sorry for shooting at you so I could wave. Good to see other DBOer's in the wild. Oddly enough, a friend of mine from real life was match made onto our team in that same match. What are the odds?</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Though I think it would be improved if you automatically capture the relic if you manage to eliminate all three opponents at the same time. I agree that it shouldn't take so long to defend. I think the disable is about right, at most a second or two more. It's already 3 seconds-ish, sometimes it feels like five when you're disabling though.</p>

The game type would be a lot more fun if it didn't take <em>forever</em> to capture a Relic and if it took longer than an instant to deactivate a probe. As it is I <strong>hate</strong> the game type. :(</p>
