I tried 2 times yesterday, Got into the playlist with a full fireteam, ran about 5 strikes, NEVER got the Will of Crota strike. We got repeats before we got the will of Crota. The day before it seemed like every other one was Omnigul. On the bright side, I did get 1, on our predetermined last run. Has TERRIBLE rolls though. The farm continues.

Will do, i just have to get 2 more pitiful souls to grind it out with me. its impossible without a team.

Maybe I didn't explain myself. I understand you have to stay in the playlist, so we would just do several strikes, then whenever omnigul was in the rotation, just do the farming there. We would not leave the playlist.

Technically that would be better farming because you have the buff. "Technically" I've never done it before though :-D

I doubt it will work. If I understand the buff correctly, you have to remain in the playlist for the buff to continue. so if you got Ominigul on your 4th strike in the playlist then you would have better chances, but not if you left the playlist and then selected the individual strike.

Omnigul Farming idea

As some of you know, I have been farming Ominigul here and there lately to try and get a Grasp of Malok. Thanks ottermack and Destroyoboy for helping me out last night. No luck yet, but today I had an idea. Last Night, We just simply selected the strike in the director, ran to her farm spot (before the final room) and kept killing/wiping. We probably did around 10 runs, each of us got an omnigul bond. Today it hit me, why don't we do the legacy playlist, go through 4 or 5 strikes, to get the Vanguard legendary drop buff, then farm her. I imagine that this will work?

Thoughts?
