I was confused by star, too. There's only one star in that screenshot.

That dialog normally plays if you try to examine the other side of that door. It definitely seems like a bug for it to spawn you in there.

I assumed this was a bug, but it strikes me as a weird bug given the content we know about. Perhaps it's related to something we have yet to discover?

i'm guessing that CruelLEGACEY is correct, the five triangles are on the core story missions, and the side missions have a single diamond.

Either way, the doors are acting funny in that mission.

The daily heroic sometimes appears with a single star instead of 5. Though I'm not sure why.

Cruel was the first to point this out some time ago, I think that any daily that has the 5 star thing has some sort of secret. Not always as big of a secret as a FWC quest or whatnot, but some kind of secret all the same.

I'm still hoping that is the distinction... although another pattern I've picked up on is that the 5-star missions appear to be core story missions, while the 1-star missions are side-quest missions.

in the selector, how many stars are on the icon for the mission? I can't remember exactly, but i do know that the black spindle and VoG Ghosts missions had more stars on the icon then the regular heroics did. I can't remember if it was like 1 vs 2, or 2 vs 5. maybe someone else knows, b/c i never really paid attention to that.
