I keep telling myself to stop, get back to life and being a productive human being. I haven't even come close to wasting as many hours as some of y'all on the game, but man, there are days where I'm just like "WHAT AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE?!"

Having all the guns you'd ever want is cool. I mean, I like Hawkmoon a lot, but if you told me before I started how hard it would be to get, only to get to use it in its best form for 6 days, I would have not bothered.

Ideally, every exotic gun would have a quest, but rest easy knowing most suck and you don't need them. I've looked at my kiosk and felt absolutely no urge to fill it up.

Not sure when the switch flipped, but I'm glad it did.

Fuck Destiny being a hobby. Destiny is a game, and gaming is the hobby.

I also played about an hour's worth of Forza 6.

Halo 5 soon will definitely make me put Destiny on the shelf for a bit, but probably not for too long.

I play whenever I REALLY feel like it. I pop into Crucible and get Sunbreaker'd, boom just done with it outside of dailies. I always struggle enjoying the game between the end of story content and when I'm at the level cap. Once I'm at the level cap, I can play whatever I want without feeling under-powered, Iron Banner is fun again, Trials becomes my stomping grounds, I can actually play the Raid! Before that, it's just another job for me to do...

"Im totally going to play through Bioshock again this month, I should start tonight, oh wait...but this is Friday, it's Xursday, I can't do that yet, I need to visit him and get some coins."

Then I will try again, "Im totally going to finish up the Laura Croft game I started....oh shoot...no I can't tonight, I got that new mission, and I need to go and see what happens with my wormsinger rune. Maybe tomorrow"

And then it's a cycle you can't break "I totally got my ass kicked yesterday in Crucible, I should go play Halo and try that finally.....oh no wait, I leveled up my new super finally, I need to go try it out....

Ha! I just want to play a different game sometimes, but stupid Destiny won't let me!

My nephew's friend asked me what level I was in Destiny when we could hit 34, prepared to stun me with his level 33 character on week 2. "I'm already a level 33 and beat the level 34 Prison of Elders."

"I've got 3 34s and have been to the lighthouse 3 times."

"What?"

"Now you look foolish, don't you?"

"Oh yeah, did you know where Xur was?"

"Yeah. I bought 18 engrams."

"Oh."
