I was in the middle of creating one consisting of Heroic Strikes and the Daily events for Marks, and then I remember Iron Banner started today.

I see events for Iron Banner sometimes, but I don't sign up, as I'm not a very competitive player, and I don't want anyone dragging me through IB and holding other folks back from putting together a great team.

I do still enjoy Iron Banner, though, so hopefully any like-minded folks will sign up and we can have a good time and make a bit of progress.

I actually thought about restarting co-op night soon if not tonight (to keep a toe in the Xbox waters while I focus on the PS4). I never would have organized an Iron Banner Co-op Night, though, so good on you!

Kermit and I have had a few brief discussions on bringing the Xbox Co-op Night back. However, with the reorganization of Marks and Loot and no Nightfall XP boost, it's still unclear what it'll look like.

Last I heard Kermit was going to migrate to the PS4 side for a bit and work on his Guardians there, so I hope he doesn't mind that I'm going to attempt to get the machine rolling.

This week, however, I know that a lot of us want to get our hands on some new Iron Banner gear, and I haven't participated in Iron Banner the last couple of times it came around, so I'm eager to hop back in! I figured we could do a special Iron Banner Edition of the Xbox One Co-op Night and get a jump start on the IB.

What?

Iron Banner! If anyone is up for it, a Daily Crucible and Daily Heroic Mission nightcap.

Who?

Guardians at a reasonable Light Level for Iron Banner.

Where?

XBL on the Xbox One

How?

Community members sign up with their gamertags using the event link.

I will invite you to an XBL party shortly before 9 EST.

Why?

To have the opportunity to play with community members you may not have played with before, and to work towards some of that sweet Iron Banner loot.

Keep in mind, this is not designed to be a hardcore event that focuses on winning matches at all costs. I personally am not super great in the Crucible. While I will be trying to win, I am prioritizing fun, even though it is Iron Banner. This is for a group of us to get together and have a good time, while still working towards ranking up in the IB for the week.
