A big, big thanks to Disciple for bowing out and letting me take his spot to get this kill done.

My first blind raid is officially done (and not a moment too soon!). I can honestly say that it was a really great experience, with a few bumps along the way. Keeping a blind team together is hard (only three of the original fireteam was present tonight, unfortunately). The second night we tried to kill Oryx was really frustrating. We knew basically what to do, but we could just never deal enough damage to stagger him. Doing that fifteen times in a row with absolutely no progress was frustrating.

Tonight was fun. We all knew what to do, but it took us a bit to find our flow as a team. We got it done, though!

It doesn't seem it at first, but the final encounter is a bit more forgiving than I initially thought as long as everyone is on the ball and flexible. There's still a few stages that you really can't have any mistakes; mainly just that you need at least five alive to stagger Oryx. We couldn't do enough damage without it (maybe it's possible with higher light and better weapons).

Overall, the Raid was really intense, and really fun. It seems like it'll be a pretty fun one to run through now that the mechanics are known.
