I feel like there's a bit of miscommunication going on in this thread. Aren't we all just saying "I like all you guys, I wish I got to play with some of you more often than I currently do"?

I miss playing with our original Flawless Raider group. We had great times together. But when I say that, I'm not saying I'd rather be playing with them than the group I play with now... I'm saying I wish I had more time to play Destiny with ALL my friends :)

Maybe that's not true. I really enjoy playing with people, but I rarely spontaneously join up with them. However I'm always glad when people join me, or invite me to do something when I'm online. I should be better about being more online-gaming outgoing.

In the meantime, please do feel free to schedule an event! I'm online just about every single night, and typically only have 2 or maybe 3 nights per week booked up with FTB events. I'd be happy to join you if I'm able. I know Sammy still needs to beat Oryx, too. So there's half a fireteam already :)

I wonder, if we have a standing weekly event (like we had w/ the Nightfall Tuesdays for quite some time) if it wouldn't be beneficial to have a weighted lottery such that those who don't get in on the raid one week will be guaranteed a seat the next?

I'm probably overthinking this like I always do.

This and other comments (not by you) make me feel like some people kind of got shouldered out a while back ago due to the FTB signups. I'd hate for that to be the case, and for people to feel like they can't sign up because they'd bump a regular. If you're interested in an event, please sign up, even if it's full. Or make a new one. There's been times in the past where we've had multiple groups going at once due to extras signing up then people rallying to fill multiple groups.

Don't be afraid of the FTB. Worst case you won't have a group even if you signed up, being no worse off than you were before.

You know if you or Korny played on PS4, you could play with us. We beat that shit all the time yo.

That was the problem I've been having, actually. It's hard to join the old Flawless Crew when FTB events fill up so quickly with half the team being people we usually don't run with (not saying anyone should be excluded, just that it's tough to find anyone that I used to play with regularly not already in a full Fireteam). I hop on all the time, see two different raid groups already full or scheduled, and just go back to leveling my Xbox characters, since my PS4 characters are only missing Raid gear.

I have been playing with TheeChaos, Destroyo and their friends, though, which has been fun, even if we haven't been able to drop Oryx (and Chaos abandons us for those aforementioned Raid groups).

Snag a year two Celestial Nighthawk if you can. Helps a ton on the Oryx fight.
