You're melee ability also counts. I did it by throwing smoke bombs at them with my Nightstalker ;)

Also: At one point you need to melee cursed thralls to death without dying yourself. 99% of cursed thralls in the game don't count for this. The ones that endlessly spawn just to the right of the mission start for the Enemy of my Enemy mission DO count, so that's where you should go to finish this particular step of the bounty/quest/thing.

I found this out the hard way. I kept trying to complete that step and never made any progress. Once I figured out that it must be ones found on the dreadnaught it took me about 90 seconds. lol.

Can't be the ones that spawn during Court of Oryx fights though.

Weird phrasing because of character limitations in the title.

When you're doing the court of oryx, there's a quest chain that can start from a drop out of the reward chest. Unlike normal quests, however, it takes up a bounty slot (probably due to code limitations?). So if you have full bounties, you can't get it. This chain gives LOTS of rep with Eris, and it's pretty neat (if challenging), so I strongly urge you to have an open slot so that you can get this thing. Completing each step doesn't start the next step until you cash in the bounty from the quest screen, so remember to do that right away each time.
