Dread Patrol, mostly (reply)

There's currently 46 that we know of in Dreadnaught Patrol, King's Fall and as chest/strike rewards, but two are currently unavailable, so if you didn't do last week's Nightfall or Court of Oryx Antiquated Rune fight you'll have to wait until more are found or the Nightfall comes up again.

Soooo... That other secret Exotic is amazing *spoilers*

Spoilers below for an endgame, post-raid reward - The Touch of Malice

For those who don't know, the Eris quest Hunger Pangs ends with an Exotic called Touch of Malice.

It's a high-RoF Scout Rifle like Wolves' Leash, with a very interesting set of perks. For starters it's Full Auto, which is always nice on a weapon with that kind of RoF. Much more interesting though is the small/huge magazine size. It only carries 11 rounds, but it's unique perk has the final round in the magazine regenerate immediately - effectively a bottomless magazine.

But it's not as simple as that. There's still a limit on how much you can use it - every shot takes a chunk off your health, and also deals double damage. There's a really cool balance because your DpS doubles, but at the cost of your own health. If you kill three enemies in quick succession it restores some of your health (more than 3 bullets worth, but less than 5 as far as I can tell).

Anyway, this is mostly just a brag post I just got one. I've been running it with a Blessing of Light bubble for an even larger mag. Can't wait to try it out in the Crucible, though I'm not convinced it will be all that good - short TTK, but you'll also die faster. Could be interesting.
