Those gunsmith quests that say, "get X kills with Y weapon while using a telemetry" ? You can use a class item with the fast leveling perk to save yourself from having to buy a telemetry (and remove the time limit too). It's great!

You can fully level a primary with 10-15 motes if you equip class armor with the right weapon leveling perk. Or use a telemetry as mentioned (just know these don't stack).

I had extremely good luck with my Three of Coins over this past weekend. I'm talking somewhere between a 25-35 percent drop rate, most of which were primary weapons. I managed to scoop up a Zhalo Supercell on my first engram (received a second one later on), a Hereafter, Monte Carlo (three times!!), Hawkmoon, SUROS Regime, and the Telesto (which is awesome). I absolutely love Zhalo and only swap it out for my Telesto when necessary (like the nightfall, super painful defending that damn WARSAT). I also scooped up Voidfang for Warlock and Crest for the Titan. I'm saving two or three other engrams for my Hunter when I decide it's time to switch from my Warlock/Titan. Just hoping those engrams will be Hunter gear.

As a side note, my luck changed drastically after wasting all of my coins farming when I jumped into last week's nightfall with Funk and CougRon (if I remember correctly) and received 5 more Three of Coins, which I was rewarded with no more engrams for my effort, womp.

I burned some motes to fully upgrade it.

I knew you could donate motes to factions to increase rep - but I didn't realize you could use motes as exp. Where do I do this?

Go to your inventory, hover over Motes of Light, hold X, profit.

It only gives exp to your gear, not to your actual level, subclass, or to obtaining your next motes of light.

For clarification, it only gives experience to gear that is equipped.

I love this feature. If I get a weapon with great perks and want to try them out, there is no grinding for experience. Just burn some motes and I'm done.

It's an extremely fun weapon to use. Once you unlock the last perk it really does become a mini ThunderJuju. Can't wait for an arc burn nightfall or something.

I was really after a Zhalo Supercell. I farmed and had coins active on every stike. On the very last coin, as the Archon Priest fell, I saw the engram. Primary weapon. I hurried to the Cryptarch and there it was. Zhalo Supercell.

I'm loving it. That chained lighting is so cool. Plus, how can I not love a space AK? Easily in my top 5 fun weapons. This thing is going to shred with arc burn.
