Virgin raids work like this: You try something. It doesn't work. The group comes up with different strategy. It doesn't work. Repeat until it works. Would I have had the patience to spend three hours in the gorgon maze had I known the path? Probably not.

Some people don't have that patience regardless, but it's so thrilling to succeed after multiple failures!

Yeah, I get it. I was just suggesting whatever came to mind to try and make things work. I feel like if I had done the Raid, but five other folks desperately needed a sixth, I would agree to help with those terms initially, but I'm not sure I would be able to hold out for hours upon hours while knowing the solution.

It looks like we're all good now, though.

Sure. ... Or I could do dailies with you and raid with Kermit. As long as I can play D:TTK with good people, I'm happy.

Those are my thoughts, as well. If our time really doesn't work for him, then it's not a huge deal. It's just a vidja game.

I think we can probably find someone. If not, I am okay with waiting. I would suggest allowing a sixth that has already done it, if they agree to not give anything away, but I can't honestly see that working out at all. It'd be incredibly boring for them, I would imagine, and would probably take away from our experience somewhat as well.

We could try /r/Fireteams or something to get a sixth, but I've never used that or LFG or anything, so I'm not sure what sort of chances you're taking in getting a reliable non-trolling player there.

I don't have any personal friends to turn to for filling the spot, either. The few I have the play Destiny are on PS4 or have done the Raid already.

Would you consider going back to Kermit's event? Mine is down by two now, and they're only down one. Plus his has been in the works longer, at least one of us should have a full blind team.

I really want to try this raid blind, and I'm finally 290, so I'm a 2nd week raider. Kernit's FTB seemed perfect. But starting early in the week and splitting it up over several nights feels better to me, which is why I signed up with Mid7night.

I still love Kermit, but all love is unrequited. :)

I loved the way Beorn helped the community find teams last year. I guess now that we have the fireteam builder that isn't necessary, but I was half-expecting it, and kind of wanting to do that myself, but wasn't as definite or as organized as Beorn.

And here we are. :(

We've still got a few days. We can find a person to fill up our squad, I'm sure. I appreciate your efforts either way.

I would love to play during the week, but it's just not all that feasible for me. I can't be online for long periods every single night.

Still, if the others in the group are willing, I am down to start earlier than Friday, say tomorrow or Thursday night, basically just give us an extra evening in there.

You could start a few nights earlier with me.... I apparently am not cool enough to garner signups for a full Raid team, either that or people just don't like playing that late. :P

The latter, I think. Midnight is just too late for me to start during the week, and even on the weekend I wouldn't make it more than two hours or so past that.

Seriously though, if you need some guys check with Coug and Steel - I won't hold them hostage if they can fill your team. :)
