I had one drop from a DO package. Mine has Army of One and Rescue Mag on it, I'd love for it to have Firefly though. The vendor version looks to be about perfect. I also have the FLASH HS4 sight on it which I love. It puts a red outline on targets :)

(I'm looking at the DO scout rifle here).

I just bought it. It shoots like a dream and the perks are great. The problem is that it takes up 1/3 of the screen when you're carrying it. It's huge! I'm completely blind to anything coming up on my right side with it equipped.

Sunday night I was getting 1 exotic per 7 coins on average. (reply)

Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely thankful to get a lot of these weapons and such early on. I'm also really glad they put in quests to earn specific exotic weapons.

I now have the chance to try out various exotics and see how they will fit my play style. I'd still rather have an epic legendary weapon to use over an exotic long term (I'm looking at the DO scout rifle here). These new exotics just let me continue to play at the level I was at before.

Yeah, I noticed that it goes away once you sign out. I've been trying to re-use it after every boss kill so I don't forget.

Sounds like I just had higher expectations than I should have, I think people are right -- this is expected drop rate. I'm up to 4 exotics for about 20 of the coins. So not bad, all told. Mathematically that about one exotic per 5 coins, which I expect is the point -- about a 20% drop rate chance.

I really don't want to farm with them, I like the idea of having a chance at better drops while I'm out doing other things. I'm concerned that they will be nerfed into oblivion. I really hope they simply add a cooldown to them. I think 10-15 minutes would be about right.

...I averaged about one exotic for every 12 buffs. When I ground my boyfriend's character for him while he was at work, it was the same (70 buffs, 6 engrams).

I read yesterday that people thought it was stealth nerfed. I decided to do one last run at about 4 pm yesterday, and got a crazy 4 engrams out of only 10 buffs. Two were TTK equipment. I think the RNG is still just RNG.

I decided to get a few in just now before bed, and wow. I just got The Taikonaut, which is easily going to be my new best friend, Empyrean Bellicose, and Crest of Alpha Lupi. And that's not including all of the weapons I got. I think overall I managed about 11 engrams from 50 of the Three of Coins.

Every time you use one and don't receive an engram, the buff goes up. Nobody has had any noticeable change when consuming more than one at a time.

I've not farmed them, but I've kept the buff up while playing since I bought some friday. I've gotten 2 engrams and gone through about 15 of the buffs.

Just hung out in a party with nico as he spent 20 buffs for 5 engrams. If they've tweaked it, his luck is even BETTER than I thought it was. :)

I used 14 of them last night, and bought 20 more. So far I have not gotten a single exotic Engram. Not even a green.

Wow, you've got even worse RNG luck than me!

(My luck with Draksis has been about average, if this thread is any measure. I'm speaking in general. :) )

Tried the Draksis trick with Blackstar a few hours ago... only once.

Got a 290 Hawkmoon.

Took me 39 stacks in total, but a sweet gold engram finally dropped amongst Zydron's parts. I rush over to pick it up...only for my HUD to read 'special weapons full'.

(I know it's waiting for me in the Tower, but I couldn't stop laughing regardless.)

So 39 coin buffs, 5 Ultra kills and virtually ALL of my strange coins are gone to the wind for one single Exotic.

But I gotta say....

I'LL TAKE IT.

Signing out and back in? I heard it doesn't actually stick thru that, but I could've heard wrong... Are you sure it stuck?
