got as high as 265 last night but I don't forsee getting to 280 tonight. I was always on the list as the seventh person so even if they gave us more time to level or it was not a crunch time at work I quite possibly would have missed out.

I think I'll still be on tonight to continue to gear up and watch your progress. I'd rather be spoiled by proxy through you guys than some strangers video or such.

We'll see where people are at tomorrow, but having played the 260 Vanguard Heroic strikes, a 280 raid is going to be very tough with our blues. Just like VoG for the first time!

I did a little datamining today.

He will sell No land beyond, Apothesis Veil, mk 44 stand asides, and the Arachnid helmet.

Ill be up late tonight, we can help each other grind hard. Im going to do as many vanguard mark giving things as possible tonight, So i can get at least 75 to buy something, But I am going to wait til tomorrow to buy anything. Just in case I get better gear in the mean time.

OR should I buy a peice, so that my drops will be higher level... hmmm.

Either way. ill be there.

I would wait! Xur comes tomorrow, so I'd see what he has and make decisions on what to buy based on that.

I went from ~200 to 244 in 8 hours tuesday night. Then 244 to 274 in 6-7 last night.

Read up about engrams (which drop 15ish light above/below your current light level) and you can do it faster than I did.

I don't think I'll be leveled up enough to raid tomorrow. Maybe Monday.

Just a thought: what if we postpone it by a week? It would be nice if we could all go in with a selection of level-appropriate gear, rather than being stuck with our lone combination that just barely brings our light up high enough (my highest rated special weapon is a sidearm... I'm not crazy about the idea of going through an entire raid using just my sidearm in that slot).

What do you all think?

I am off work tomorrow So we can stream roll some heroic strikes, maybe a nightfall to help get geared.

With the Strike Streak buff, we should fly up.

I did spend a little time doing non grinding things like the dreadnaught. Today I am thinking about just grinding strikes, thats where I got most of my gear upgrades.

My hopes for today are to get around 280ish range, then be able to do a nightfall before the Raid. Argent17 got a Telesto from it and Funkmon got the supercell. Seems legit.

I want to get a a sense of how people are progressing, so I can decide whether or not to reschedule the raid. Current guess is 280, but nobody knows for sure?

I'm at 259, and was at 205 this morning. At this pace, I should be okay. What about everybody else? Moving it to sunday / monday is a possibility if not enough people hit the required light by friday.
