Having spent at least 10 hours on it this weekend, I just don't think Skolas is worth doing. Maybe after I have like 200 light I might consider trying again. No triumphs for me. It wouldn't be so bad if Bungie had included a checkpoint after each round so I could beat everything before Skolas once and come back to finish later, but 5+ hours to take him down is just too long. Raids are only 2-3 hours long mostly.

Pretty much entirely agree. Lots of those rounds were entirely devoid of fun. We beat The VIP round probably entirely because I got dropped from the game and then joined back in an opportune location.

I do think that Skolas was fun though I would probably be singing a different tune if we hadn't bested him in the end. The Skolas mechanics were almost as interesting as Raid encounter mechanics. Too many adds to actually enjoy the mechanics.

Well that was some intense fun (once we got past round four - what a grind). Thank you, Monochrone, for your many clutch moments! Thank you, Robot, for the coaching.

That was my third attempt at Skolas and I think it took us three attempts at him.

Needless to say, Junior is thrilled.

Guess we should get on with year two now...

With about 20 minutes to spare (and some sideline coaching from Robot Chickens) Oholiab, OholiabII, and I finally brought him down. Haven't seen clutch plays like that in a long time guys. Thanks again!

Now time to sleep and put off the regret of staying up to 3am until tomorrow.

Moments of Triumph actual due date?

I assumed that I had missed the moments of Triumph dealine...but it still looks like I can get them on B.Net. Is the cutoff tonight at midnight or something? Was it at reset time this morning? Tomorrow?

All I need is Skolas and . . . it's tempting.
