it was weird, but Crucible grants you XP without tracking your deaths for Vanguard Bounty purposes. If you find yourself stuck on this, give that a try.

...but you blew my cover. Was going to claim it took 4 consecutive flawless matches.

I have a full docket of bounties completed, and I can't seem to turn them in. I assumed that this was due to them giving out rewards that I can't get yet. But maybe that's not the case... maybe it's a bug?

What happens when you try to turn them in? You're doing it from the quest screen, yes?

You have to do it in the bounty menu, not by the robot. (reply)

Yeah, XP still exists even when you're maxed. It has to, in order for weapons and armor (and some other things now in 2.0) to level up.

Just complete like 6 other bounties, cash them all in at once, and presto - you've completed the 10k exp bounty as well. I've done it twice this week already.

I completed that bounty in the Crucible. Go figure... (reply)

I picked up the Deathless bounty yesterday in anticipation of a Nightfall strike in the near future(speaking of, more work for less reward; yay!), and I did a Nightfall Strike today. I didn't die, got the most kills, and even a couple revives. But after the Nightfall was over, I opened my Ghost, and it said I didn't earn a single point.

What happened? Don't tell me we can't even get experience through Nightfall anymore!

"Earn 10,000 XP without dying"...I'm level 34, and can earn no more experience until next Tuesday. I think that's it, plain and simple.

You now gain most of that experience by completing bounties and turning them in. It's an awesome change.
