Just for a little more detail. Once you hit a certain rank (I would assume 3), there will be a few foundry weapons you can buy using legendary marks that will be delivered the following Armsday (Wednesday).

I thought the gunsmith charged glimmer?

You have to do the nightfall first for the buff, then you have to do the field tests. I did them without the nightfall buff, and fell 250 rep short.

Were you able to get to rank 1 just by doing the five weapons this week? I've only done the PVE ones.

I'm already at Rank 1. Either you have to be higher or you don't get to order 'til next week.

Are legendary marks replacing vanguard and crucible marks?

If I remember correctly its actually at rank 1 you get to order an armsday weapon, then every rank after that you get to order more than 2. Probably more in depth system than that but I believe thats what they said during the stream.

I like the bounty and quest changes. I am curious if they will progress to the next step and allow us to remotely get bounties and/or quests. It would remove the need to go to x to talk to y and instead use our space age communication devices. I can see pros and cons to that concept.

Bounties have changed and for the better I think. I really like the fact that they are more generalized. Meaning that instead of 15 Hand Cannon kills, its primary kills, and also significantly less kills. This allows me to use what I want to, and still be progressing. I can usually finish 5 of the six bounties in a game, because they are so easy.

The vanguard bounties are pretty nice now as well, again less grindy.

The Field Test Weapon is a very cool mechanic. A few people were complaining that the weapons were terrible. They arent meant to be top notch, otherwise you would be getting 5 legendary quality weapons a week. Most people seemed to enjoy this new feature, myself included. It did not take long to complete the weapons, and its nice to see the new designs.

The fusion rifle was OK at times, but the Omolon Sniper was incredible, I used it over and over while playing Rift last night, and loved it. Sooo smooth. I plan on keeping this gun until I can find a comparable one with more perks. The sights are very clear and the low zoom is great all around. High rate of fire is great.
