That is the 2.0 update. However, I do think it basically is The Taken King, as whether you buy it or not, you still need to have it because of Destiny always being online, and encountering other players with TTK gear and guns. I think TTK will just unlock on the 15th if you've purchased it.

Not to mention some TTK gear and guns are available for everyone I believe (someone correct me if they know for sure, I've never been able to confirm).

I rarely play Destiny...I only just beat House of Wolves a couple weeks ago.

So I bought the digital Taken King DLC.

There was a 17gb download...Is that just a pre download or is that the 2.0 update? Taken King doesn't come out for another week right? What am I downloading?
