As I see it, the Hive are really the only ones that are truly Dark. The Vex are seemingly infinite, so they might be more dangerous but their motives are not necessarily Dark, or at least completely Dark. They seem to have found a god worth following and that Darkness has used them for ill purposes.

The Fallen and the Cabal, on the other hand, seem more autonomous from the Darkness. The Cabal themselves might even be fighting/running from the Darkness. So yeah, they both seem like they could be on the same side at some point.

I want to see some alliances between us and the cabal, seeing as the vex and/or the hive are just as much of a threat to the cabal than us. No reason we can't join sides with them.
