This DLC seems to be highlighting Cabal, which only coexist with Vex in the current game. We'll have a new area to patrol, which brings the number of places we can encounter them to two, just like the Hive. So I imagine they won't need to adjust anything for TTK poop

One can hope that we'll just get something akin to the Queen's Wrath we got in the week leading up to HoW. Perhaps just the bounties for that week will be active.

It just dawned on me that we've reached the last week of Gjallarhorn's reign. I'm going to make a point of shooting everything I can with it this week. Long live the King!

The Weapon balance patch is supposed to drop before TTK comes out.

It just dawned on me that we've reached the last week of Gjallarhorn's reign. I'm going to make a point of shooting everything I can with it this week. Long live the King!

The patch will contain all the changes. It should be a big file. if past history is any indication all game mechanic changes and non-dlc-only content will be in play and unlocked. This should include all the weapon balance changes, general tower changes and changes to playlists and events in the patrol spaces. TTK content will be unlocked a week later--either it will just turn on or there will be another small-tiny patch at release time.

The last BWU said it would be around 18GB for XB1/PS4 on Sept. 8.

I'm guessing the "wolves are prowling" events will go away to make room for Taken events in public spaces, but the enemies that are in private areas will stay. We would be losing half of the bounties each week.

Technically, so did the blades.

My guess is they'll dial down the frequency, make them triggered by environmental buttons or otherwise rehaul the HoW bounties.

I wonder if the Fallen Wolf patrols will go away this time. In the past, new Patrol events disappeared with the next dlc (i.e. blades of crota) but the wolf patrols all have bounties associated with them which might mean Bungie may keep them this time.
