Actually, it fires faster than literally only two Legendary handcannons. All other handcannons fire at the same speed or faster.

Iy does less PvE damage than a comparable handcannon with Explosive rounds (actually it does less than even a faster/weaker model with Ex. rounds), and has less auto-aim than a comparable handcannon with Hidden Hand. It's a nice weapon, but it fills no niche, and you could easily roll a superior Red Hand or Fulcrum.

Edit: Of course, Six Dreg Pride is nothing special either. Both only worth having for Solar burn, IMO.

PVP is different, but in general, the point is moot because neither of these hand cannons are an ideal PVP choice, where you would want a Red Hand for auto aim, word of Crota for TTK, fulcrum for mini hawkmoon, etc. Unless it's your only legendary hand cannon, it won't come up except for fun. And it's not fun to me.

Word of Crota has a good TTK? I did not have much success when I tried that gun in PvP for my latest Thorn bounty; Slycrel was just complaining to me about how long it took to kill in Iron Banner w/ it.

Yeah, no Idea what he's talking about. As an expert in all things hand cannon, I've always hated Word of Crota. Recoil is ridiculous, accuracy is crap, and damage is laughable. As far as PvE goes, a void Jewel trumps it in all respects. Less ammo per mag, yes, but less wasted/marshmallow rounds. I don't use my jewels much (I prefer my elemental Messengers and Scholars), but that's mostly because of how fast they burn through ammo. That said, the rounds almost always land on target, and they pack a heavy punch (most if not all crits).

I disagree with you on all points. It does no more damage than any medium high impact hand cannon, giving me no real reason to use it over other guns, its small magazine size makes killing yellow enemies difficult, and its recoil curve isn't up/down like the other hand cannons, but way off to the left. I have much greater success using Vision of Confluence.

It has better range and accuracy than most hand cannons, which helps mitigate the middling clip size. Doesn't hit quite as hard as Timur's Lash or Hawkmoon, but has a faster rate of fire. You're right about the recoil, but I still find it stable enough to be quite effective from mid-long range. I know lots of people love Vision of Confluence, but it just doesn't click with me. I like SRs on both ends of the spectrum: fast/ weak, or slow/powerful. VoC is too middle of the road for me.

6 dreg pride, in addition to having a normal recoil curve, does as much damage, but critically also holds 12 shots so I can at least kill a guy with it. It's the better gun for my gameplay.

I thought 6 Dreg Pride had lower impact than Jewel, but I could be wrong about that. I had a non-elemental version a couple months ago and sharded it because it didn't stand out in any way. Although I can totally see how an elemental version would give an adept Jewel a run for its money.

I also have a few solar Jewels, and those are way worse, so at least it's better than those.

Jewel is great. Do you not Icarus? While Titan jumping it's great. While bouncing around with quadruple jump it's great!
