Half the weapons I equip have my guardian with their finger on the trigger in the status screen. Don't they know basic gun safety?

I think safety has a different meaning when instant-resurrection is an app on your mobile Ghost device. :P

What if you accidentally shoot a non guardian in the tower, huh? :-p

There are magnetic fields that prevent guns from shoot in the tower. There is also a law that you can't walk around holding a gun!

When Guardians are actually walking around the Tower their weapons are holstered, and if you look at someone who's looking at their status screen you see that doesn't change.
Now I'm wondering if the status screen is supposed to represent anything at all in-universe. I imagine it's what your Guardian would look like if someone said they were taking pictures, they'd get their best gear on, grab their favorite rifle, and strike a pose.
