You guys know that Atheon(just like all the other bosses) has a close-up wipe attack, right? And regardless of your level or difficulty, it's a one-hit kill. And that's if you DON'T get killed by all his superpowerful blasts while running up to him.

And what are you going to do about Oracles? There's no way you can make it up to each one high in the air to get close enough to do any real damage--it's a fool's errand.

The problem was that the enemies weren't dropping heavy ammo, even with everyone wearing Ruin Wings. I only picked up 2 heavy ammo packs during the entire raid. Most of the time was spent running in circles until I could pop another synth.

The one fun thing that came out of it was making snow globes. Drop a bubble with Armor of Light, wait for a bunch of thrall to come in, then fire a Gjallarhorn at your feet. The wolfpack rounds make it look like a snow globe of death, and the Armor of Light keeps you alive to enjoy it.

That's a shame; I thought it had potential to be a lot of crazy fun. Big explosions, fast clears followed by tricky sequences dodging fire while waiting for a synth. I imagined everyone running around after the one person who has rockets left, hoping for a drop. I"m sure you made a dent in your heavy synth stockpile, at least.

Any thoughts on another concept raid? Necrochasm or shotgun Vault of Glass should be possible, at least until we get to Atheon. No Land Beyond might work. Perhaps a super-only?

Not muçh of a challenge, either. We went into encounters with plans, then immediately discarded those plans and just did whatever. The best part was the fact that we were all titans and could bubble infinitely.

No good clips. Nothing particularly interesting.

General strategies if you want to do it that we learned:

Run in circles counter clockwise together around lamps and plates.

Don't go back for friends.

That's it.

Overall score: 5/10. Much prefer shotgun raid.
