Destiny's Soundtrack (reply)

As I've been doing, I'm bringing up something that is old news to everyone else.

I finally bought the Destiny soundtrack on a whim. Holy crap, it is freaking good. I'm not sure why, but it never stood out that much to me when I played the game. I always noticed the soundtrack when I played Halo. For whatever reason, I think Destiny's soundtrack is a bit more subtle in the way it's inserted in the game . . . it blends in a bit more, I don't know. Whatever the case, I didn't really notice it much, or think anything about it.

Man, I missed out. Now that I've listened to the full soundtrack, I've been noticing it when I play quite a bit, and holy crap is it good. It's as good as Halo's, better in a lot of places, actually. It's got a lot of similarity to Halo's soundtrack in places. Honestly, I feel like it's Halo's soundtrack, but all grown up (not that Halo's wasn't). It's subtle, not as in your face . . . it's not showing off.

Also, it's great that we got so much freaking music on the OST. There's like three normal albums worth of music there!

I'm a little bit in love with it, and just though it was worth mentioning.

I bought it pretty early on but for whatever reason I haven't listened to it all that much. And I don't know why. It is interesting and varied. It's not as recognizable to me as say Halo 1's soundtrack... but a decade of listening vs a year will do that to ya. Actually, I know why I haven't been listening to the Destiny soundtrack very much! It's because I've been too busy playing Destiny! :p
