So I was scanning DBO before bed and saw your plea after I was all comfy so I rolled over, grabbed the remote and fired her up (never leaving the comforter of course) only to find you had Hanu helping you. SO I rage quit and vowed to never answer your siren call again.

(My Bed/Living Room/ Kitchen/ Tool Storage is all one space making this feasible)

Beardfade, Rellekh and I tackled him in a painless run tonight and burned him before the 2nd mines came. We didn't even use all 21 rockets.

I feel very comfortable with him now and I'd be happy to help out anyone trying to take him down.

Remember you can kill him with rockets before the 2nd mines even spawn. I like to kill all the adds and do it from the left platform. Keep circling the arena until he's really far away when you turn around ready to shoot. If he's close there's a risk he teleports onto you, so just circle again. After 15-25 rockets you can disarm the mines in an empty arena!

Thanks! I may just give that a try. I will say that that works great on current gen where you can have access to your synths with ease. Old gen, its a gamble to access your menu.

That does make it tricky! Make sure everyone has full rockets before you begin. 21 rockets plus whatever else you can throw at him should be sufficient.

I shall ever be a puffed-up peacock due to our first Skolas defeat. No cheese, full encounter, with Arc burn. Super frustrating at times, but in the end immensely satisfying to pull off!

We almost had him in one of our earliest attempts, if we could just make it through the second wave of mines we'd have had him for sure. Sorry I had to bail, but I'm in central time. :-/

I once said that Gjallarhorn had not changed my day to day Destiny gameplay. It hadn't. Because I was still in the 360 mindset of Heavy ammo synths. Knowing I can have 14 shots basically one after another changed how I so encounters, so Gjallarhorn is used by me quite a bit more. 10 seconds to load the menu is way too long.
