Oh, wow, it made it to Kotaku. This was their 2nd attempt at it, the first attempt they were maybe a second or two late on the last kill. /u/DemolitionWolf on reddit did a TON of research on the gorgons which these people put to good use.

I think they actually killed them 17 times - 10 times to remove the invulnerability, and then all 7 within 30 seconds (the respawn timer). Impressive.

MotW, I'd hope. Unless someone recorded last night's all-shotgun Crota run (all shotgun and 18 grenades, anyway).

According to this Kotaku article, some daring and patient folks figured out how to kill every last Gorgon in the VoG's Labyrinth. Crazy stuff!

For those who want to get to the meat, here's the video:

Bungie should gift them Hawkmoons for being the first to truly conquer the Gorgons. :P

Unfortunately, they just respawn after 30 seconds.

That being said, soloing a gorgon is pretty impressive on it's own.

But yeah, unfortunate that there's nothing to reward them for their achievement, though I don't think Bungie ever expected that it would be done.
