This is a good question. I'll keep my eye open and, if he doesn't see this post when he returns from his pilgrimage, ask the wise one.

Additional notes:

Email notifications should really only be sent for replies to your own posts, not (for example) to any post in a given thread you just happened to start. Also, there is no need to notify oneself of a reply you yourself posted.

Being able to see who (if anyone) has replied to your posts is a valuable feature, but it would be far more useful if it were integral to the forum itself rather than sent via email — upon visiting the site I could hit a ‘replies’ link and be shown threads which contain replies to things I've written that I've not yet read. Of course, I'm aware such functionality is non-trivial and probably not something MLF already provides.

Jesting aside, nice to see threaded view still existing, I think... :P
