I was secretly hoping Banana had gotten ahold of a PS4, because our bromance seems to have fizzled of late (though he did teach me proper teabagging etiquette recently. Thanks Banana!).

But now I just feel bad, because it occurs to me I really don't know ~50% of this community that well because of artificial console-related barriers. Microsoft, Sony - can't we all get along?

Iconic has helped me and my offspring countless times. Always very patient with n00bs. Chaos helped James and I with his first level 34 PoE a couple weeks ago. Two stand up Guardians.

Sign me up for a Skolas encounter! It's my last unfilled circle on the emblem.

Last night we tackled Skolas. When they floated the idea, I was nervous as I had heard horror stories of people's initial attempts. I really wasn't sure I wanted to to invest the next 3-5 hours of my life to this endeavor, but against my better judgment I settled in for the challenge.

Both Chaos and Iconic were running Bubble Bros, generating 5 guaranteed orbs a pop. At times the ground was covered with a sea of orbs. Meanwhile I went as a blade-dancer who couldn't create orbs if I wanted to (sorry about that). That being said, the combo worked out pretty well because I could run undetected across the maps. We only ran into a rough patch on the vex dismantling mines level. The rest of the time was a fun steady sense of progression.

When we got to Skolas, they calmly walked me through the encounter and we had no trouble on the mines. Catapult was great for Skolas because we could keep tossing them at him when we ran out of heavies. All in all it took us about two hours to finish (after we ran a quick 15 min level 28 to get Chaos' and Iconic's Titans access to the fight).

If anyone needs to get this accomplishment, I highly recommend going along with these two. I never felt stressed when I messed up, and we were able to adapt pretty quickly when things deviated from the script.

Now I can get that Founder's Seal come September.
