You don't have to watch the whole thing (spoiler: he's the fucking MVP). Just watch that first map, where he looks the pre-game jitters in the face and then beats the ever-loving shit out of them.

Not true bro. Not at all. I've played trials with you and I think you are better than me. I'm consistently the worst K/D on my trials teams, but alas I did somehow make it to the lighthouse. I was really in complete and total shock too. What made it feel crappy though was that Wildthing had been on our team and got booted just a couple games short of his trip to the lighthouse. I kinda feel bad knowing I've made it, when so many others (better players) haven't.

That's why despite the fact I'm consistently a better killing machine with my Gunslinger, I'm running my Defender with Crest of ALupi. It makes no sense, but I've had much more success with a class I'm not as comfortable with.

My trip to the lighthouse was pretty casual. I wasn't really thinking about it, just playing because I really like the format. It just happened and it WILL happen for you. But I def know the feeling of seeing all these posts about multiple trips to the lighthouse. It really makes me wish we could play some DBO custom elimination to see how we do compare to others, and also so we could learn from one another. Fingers crossed for TTK!

Heh... If you had been there, you'd get the context of my statement. Paddy has a bit of a habit of going for a shoulder charge at all costs.

Can't tell you the number of times that we were yelling at Paddy "Go for the Revive! The Revive! Where are you going? Noooooooo!"

Teams would quickly start to fear us, playing it safe up top, though that wasn't always safe...

We even ran up against a solid team of triple Gunslingers, which are my specialty. We lost against them (due to a surprise Golden Gun on the final round), but they had to earn that victory.

Our misfortunes ultimately caught up to us, but I gotta hand it to Kanbo, he's a great Sunsinger. He actually throws grenades! And he focuses on reviving teammates, which is essential to victory in Trials. We also got the awesome Helmets, so everybody wins! (I did finally get a Void Messenger on PS4, so there's that, at least).

Afterwards, I broke my record for head bounces, and hopped into lots of Crucible.

As well as the worst side...

In the end, Malagate and I had a great run (12 victories in a row!). One game in particular was started very well, and ultimately lasted only about five minutes (we didn't even make it to the six-minute Heavy Drop).
