Sure, It adds a little flavor to have it take some random amount of time for it to be ready, but is that little bit of flavor worth the confusion it causes? Especially when it can be anywhere between one to THREE DAYS of confusion. Maybe having the random range be between 1 & 12 hours would be better.

That thing wrecks. And I haven't even unlocked the signature perk yet. The only two downsides is that it takes an Exotic slot and absolutely chews through ammo.

Some jerks (like Xenos) got three Elder Ciphers from their first four Skolas kills.

Pretty sure he got his first three from the first three he did, and an adept weapon from the forth.

Some jerks (like Xenos) got three Elder Ciphers from their first four Skolas kills.

I'm sitting at two for three. On my third run, both other players got Cyphers. :)

I'm guessing you get these cyphers from PoE 35? Cause I want one and I don't even know what it is.

You can get an Elder Cipher from both 34 and 35. Although, from what I've heard, it's something like a 10% chance from 34, and over 50% chance from 35. Some jerks (like Xenos) got three Elder Ciphers from their first four Skolas kills.

And you get cool weapons from Ciphers? I also have no idea how you get the special bounty/quest for exotics... I need to play more PoE...

The Elder Ciphers are how you get the [only] three new House of Wolves exotic weapons. Each time you get a Cipher, you can choose between the Queenbreaker's Bow (fusion rifle that acts more like a sniper rifle), the Lord of Wolves (a shotgun that fires in bursts kinda like a fusion rifle) and the Dreg's Promise (a sidearm). There is no other way to get these exotics.

I had one ready in 24 hours, but the 2nd one took 72. I'm hoping this doesn't mean that when I get my 3rd that it'll take a full week to be ready :)

Like, as soon as I handed it over to him, the Reef was marked as green. That was very annoying.

Dunno how long it actually takes, though. I waited over a week to play again after handing it.

Yeah, my Vestian Outpot icon lit up as soon as Variks took the Elder Cipher/Key from me. It takes 72 hours to cook, though.
