Recovery only triggers when you haven't taken damage for a while, and you take constant damage while in the detain shield. Your recovery stat would have to be crazy high to start regenerating health in the gaps between Detain DoT.

Maybe if you max your subclass Recovery and wore Recovery Boost armour it would work?

You don't get the buff on yourself, only teammates (reply)

If you or anyone in your group has Lord of Wolves, then you can ignore the eye. Apparently the +3 recovery granted to your fireteam completely negates the damage you take in the detain. So you can just not really worry about getting the eye and just bust your way out.

There was forwards purchase thing before 1/15/15. I think Claude plays there because he has friends there, as do I. (You might, too.)

Yeah, but it was with Mig. Perhaps they were playing with a third that had to drop or some such. I was curious as to why two people with XBones decided to tackle a challenge on 360s.

I think it was Mig's son. Convenience, what box was available and hooked up. Any number of reasons.

It was Mig's son's character - but it was Mig.

We'd done the Nightfall/Weekly with nico, who only has a 360. We didn't switch consoles when he left.

(We didn't run into real trouble until Round 5, anyway - by which time we were no WAY going to switch consoles. :) )

The higher level PoE events give you more points towards the exotic bounties. If running level 28 or 32 over and over and over doesn't appeal to you, maybe try doing the higher levels. I got lucky last week; I was able to complete an entire Cypher bounty just by doing the 34 and 35 once each (last week's 34 had 3 boss rounds, so lots of points).

Yeah, if checkpointless, overleveled challenges become the norm for Destiny's endgame I won't be playing the highest end content until months later. I'm glad we stuck it though, but it wasn't like Vault of Glass where I was excited to have done it. There was a small amount of joy smothered beneath a feeling that what I was asked to do was stupid insane. I think this may be the first time I'm unhappy to have beaten something. :(

Huge thanks to Iconic and Chaos for seeing it through though! Now only 13.3333333? more rounds of PoE and I get a Queenbreaker's Bow...
