Cody and I had almost no experience with this map going in, so it took us a few games to really find our groove. But by the 3rd or 4th game, we really picked things up and began to play well as a team.

We were the same way last night. It was my first time on the map (Sammy's second or third), so we were a bit of a mess at first, especially with how quickly the map plays (and the fact that literally every time I move the thumbstick I feel pain). As usual, we tested Cyber's patience. :P
Eventually we got into the groove of things, and were able to get the chest piece that we were after, as well as all of the reward packs (and this fun clip:

We did suffer 1 loss last night (we had the Mercy buff, so it didn't prevent us from reaching the lighthouse) which I did not include in this video. I didn't remove it because we lost, but rather because it was a rather laggy and glitchy match. Not blaming that for our defeat, but it made the video less than helpful so I cut it.

I have been to the lighthouse and I'm legitimately terrible at the game. Just got super lucky to get matched against worse players.

Also getting carried by two people who are noticeably better than me (Funk and unoudid) helps.

...is that I know I'm not quite good enough. And I don't have a fireteam that's in my position. The people I play with are either "ick, no way I want to put in the effort to get better at PvP to play ToO, why why is that fun to you?" or they are the people like cruel, who are weekly going to the lighthouse with others, and making it look easy.

Add the difficulty I have scheduling something reliably friday-sunday and it's tough. Trials is something I'd like to play, but fireteam logistics and my own schedule make it unlikely to happen on a consistent basis.

So I really like the idea of trials, but I guess I fail at fireteaming. heh.

Sammy and I have a crappy schedule that makes it tough for us to run through it together, and sometimes one or the other isn't in the mood for such a long commitment... But if we're both online during Trials days, and we don't have anything scheduled, we'd be happy to run it with you. This weekend we'll be able to do it. We want that Titan chest (thanks to Otter showing it off every chance he gets -_-* ...), so join us!
