Few and far between..

Sadly this is true. Especially now that you can't increase range without reducing stability…

Generally speaking they are a good point to compare against, but i never judge a book solely on stats. I base the gun on how well I do with it. Sometimes having a higher ROF isnt a good thing. I just try out the gun and see how I do with it. In this case I do really well. But for you to tell me that x gun is worse than y gun because of stats really means nothing to me. I will just have to try it out for myself.

Got my Perun's Fire from the banner of irons this weekend. LOVE IT. Ever since the big fusion rifle nerf I have not even given them a chance. But now I have rethought this. I found it was being more useful to be than my shotguns. The super fast charge time and more range than a shotgun is excellent.

I've been planning to buy it all week, but I spent the last of my glimmer on another piece of Etheric Light. If I have time after my PoE run tonight, I'll farm some glimmer and pick it up. It's the only Iron Banner weapon I still need.

It's good, but it was better the first time around because you could have hammer forged and get extra range with no penalty. I don't use it really, since I have a Calming with extra range, and a Purifier VIII that simply can't be beat by anything else stat wise. Both have better stats than anything Perun's could get, then and now.

Unfortunately, stability and range are the two most important stats on a fusion rifle for PvP in my opinion, and the perks that you can roll in House of Wolves all give you one at the expense of the other.

That's a shame, because if that weren't the case more Fusion Rifles might be able to compete with shotguns.
