Hammer forged/rifled barrel gets these all to the max range anyway. The difference is, the Osiris gun cannot get this range perk, so it's immediately outclassed.

So I got a Matador 64 as a drop. It looked like it had a lot of range, so I looked it up. Guess what? It has the highest range of any shotgun in the game (tied with Osiris shotguns). 25% more range than Felwinter's!

Why are we going the opposite direction of where we should be going with shotguns? Especially since I can reforge this and get shot package plus reinforced barrel? I almost want to spend my motes to do this just to be a dick.

I got a Matador 64 from IB last night. Rerolled it a couple times and it now has Shot Package and Luck in the Chamber (along with Rifled Barrel and Field Choke). Should be pretty stoopid if I ever level it up and learn how to use shotguns.

Or Shotty Snipers where the shotguns have longer range than the sniper rifles?

I just got a Party Crasher +1. Crazy impact and range, plus full auto. I'm liking it more than Felwinters because I can get followup shots off faster if I need to. Mine has full auto, small bore, and rodeo.

Yeah I've got one as well. Planning on rerolling it for maximum annoyance when I have some spare time (and motes).
