Don't go too crazy about it, you only get the package for doing the daily crucible playlist once per week. But still an added chance to get some crucible rewards is great.

Did I hear somewhere that it also will drop in Nightfall and Raids, or am I making that up out of wishfull thinking?

Cuz if that stuff only drops in rank 3 & 5 of IB I won't be "Ascending"ANYTHING.
