There's a lot of Perks that I love, but many are situation specific, and let's be honest, there's some situations I find myself in more often than others. I love Private Reserves on Apotheosis Veil for instance, during the Crota fight on hard mode, since I can regenerate life essentially any time I want. In crucible, it's really great too. But it just doesn't come up enough to make it the BEST perk.

It is understandable that I can no longer one-hit body shot kill while people hide behind cover. But.... on Twilight Gap, I should be able to shoot through the metal walls that protect B and C.

Alright, what do you all think the best single perk is in the game? It could be something you like a lot, or something you often rely on.

My choice is White Nail. Boss fights are a breeze, and it works wonders for tougher enemies like Yellow Hive Knights. I know some people on here aren't as much a fan of Black Hammer as I am, so what's your favorite perk?

White Nail is a good one... definitely lots of fun in the right situation, and super satisfying when you're able to rattle off a constant stream of sniper fire.

I'd have to say my overall favorite is Firefly. It's extremely useful in almost every PvP encounter in the game. Plus there's something extremely satisfying about the "pop! - BANG" effect of taking down an enemy with a headshot, then clearing out the 3 or 4 enemies around him.

It WAS Armor Piercing on Snipers, but thanks to the nerf it's now pretty useless.

Field Scout for Machine Guns is amazing. Usually doubling their mag count, and it works in Crucible as well.
