I played a bit of a few playlists since the changes. Inferno control is a campfest, rumble and control do have less shotgun usage. I was doing better while trying to get my handcannon kills.

Yeah, it was definitely 250 each. But with each level requiring 2500 rep, it's not going to give you as many free levels as you think.

No, it was for one as there was 6 in the inventory after using one.

All those times I was watching that GIF, and they all deleted before hand--I'm losing my head!

It must be the day I've been having; it was inventory week at my job and I just spent 9 straight hours mindlessly counting things. It's all numbers in my eyes.

I guarantee you it will still be a dominating problem, and Contro--I mean, Iron Banner will be heavily warped by campers with Felwinter's Lie, and people who just don't care and kill others across the map with it anyway.

No, sweetheart--that was for seven. If it was 250 each, you'd jump like...12 levels, and there's no way Bungie will let you do anything fast in Destiny. 250 for 7, that rounds out to about 35 or so per commendation, making a LOT more sense.

I wonder when we can start dumping those commendations. (reply)

Definitely. They don't even really do anything. They were pretty clearly intended to regulate the rate at which players could obtain vendor gear, but I've found I earn commendations faster than I could ever get rid of them (due to accruing marks slower), so they had no effect other than taking up an inventory slot.

Good on them for the rep bonus when getting rid of commendations - keeps players from feeling like they got nothing for their efforts.

With adding some new materials in HoW it only makes sense to me to get rid of some, and commendations is the obvious choice if you ask me.

If you have a bunch of them stockpiled, you can burn them for reputation. Gaining reputation will speed you toward your next promotion, thus earning you another reward package. To prosper and equip yourself with new stuff, just earn Marks!
