I've never done this, or really wished for it. I prefer my sniper thank-you-very-much. If an enemy gets to close I prefer the warlock-fireball-bitch-slap to a shotgun.

But still, there I was, dreaming about shotgun sliding. I feel dirty now. I blame Bungie.
