But then something really weird happened. We jumped into a game, and I was doing pretty well. Then I heard someone say they didn't see me on the leader-board. "Nope I'm in, heading to flag X now." I saw my leader-board and realized I was playing a completely separate game with different folks. But we weren't in an xbox live party, we were using destiny game chat and we could still communicate. Their game finished first and the fireteam leader attempted to back out of matchmaking and it started to take me out of my game. "NOOOOOOO I'm winning!" Laughs over the mic from the guys. Then they notify me their post game timer was running out. It ended my game and the black screen loaded!

But I was still in the game. I could hear all the sounds of the team fighting and my controller would vibrate as I was apparently still in existence in this other realm. Finally, Boom! The win and my screen lights up with all the marks and xp I'd won.

Then if I'm correct we all got the apple as whatever weird network bug crashed. Destiny does some weird things, but that was one of the strangest I've experienced.
