I don't remember any significant consequences- or any consequences at all for that matter- to any tidbits that they dropped.

I firmly believe Bungie became significantly more tight-lipped about everything and less open to speculation immediately after the ODST pricing debacle... And that makes me sad. :(

Its a lot of fun to go back to the old pre-Halo 3 episodes and catch all the little features they accidentally let slip out. 4 player co-op was accidentally mentioned (and left in) as was playing as an Elite :)

Maybe that has something to do with why they don't do them anymore...

Millions of Destiny users have paid for content through House of Wolves. After that, Bungie has to convince us to spend our money again. So they'll release third classes and other big changes in expansion 3 to get all of us to re-up. Just my 2 cents.

Still some of the best "audio listening experiences" I've ever had. Period.

After the games, those podcasts are what made me really fall in love with Bungie.

Same. I'd listen to them over and over and over.

1) what humanity could do to defend against a surprise attack from a post-singularity alien civilization; and

2) what their favorite ice cream flavor is.

That's actually a pretty substantial change in verbiage, that I've heard. Up til now I would've expected him to say "that's not something we're talking about right now", or just ignore the question altogether.

But to actually acknowledge the question and answer in the affirmative, that at least "there are plans", is a big deal.

Awesome. I always figured that had to be in the plans, but plans change and all.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's part of this "comet" thing. Seems like a big deal for just one of the DLCs.
