One thing that you're gonna find out real quick: It's not so much all of these booths, although it's a big part of PAX. It's all about spending time with your friends and community members. :)

Yeah I'll probably be sticking to presentations and looking at cool booths! Unsure about the levels of swag to expect, but I'm not big on carrying around tons of stuff anyway :?

The last few years I've stopped caring about swag. The occasional t-shirt or button is cool, but a lot of it is junk IMHO.

Completely agree. If you absolutely have to play a AAA game on the floor, make sure you wait in line on the first day for it. The later in the weekend it gets the crazier the lines will get. (But seriously just play awesome indie games)

I'll almost certainly be there with some friends. Never been to a PAX before. They fun?

(My first PAX was four years ago. I've been to every PAX East and PAX Prime since then. Amazing fun.)

Looking at the panel schedule, the only Bungie or 343 presence I see is Bungie new hire John Ryan on a shared panel about creative freedom. Blame GDC, I suppose. Considering development timelines I doubt we'll see the two companies on the show floor as well.
