The kill timer activates while I am flying, but it stops once I land on the pillar.

Damn. I wonder if it's different for each pillar. I got on the other one from the tree; maybe its a different kill zone.

I've seen people much higher--I just never cared enough to do anything about it. I just finally found the fan switch last week, and that was out of Googled curiosity.

I did not have a kill timer while being on top of that pillar.

It gave me about 3 seconds and then started counting; strangely enough, chaos was triggering a kill timer when he attempted the float/glitch method with unoudid last night, and the same count wasn't triggering for unoudid.

Looks like more experimenting is required; we need someone else to climb that tree!
