The sun would be about the size of your fist if I recall correctly. Right now it is about the size of your pinkie.

So, no the sun would not appear that big assuming Mercury has the same orbit in Destiny.

So we were just playing on the Fields of Glass map on Mercury, and the Sun is just looming over the map outside. Is it to scale, or would it be much bigger looking if we were actually on Mercury? Anyone know? Maybe someone from Bungie can shed some light on this? Pun intended.
