My favorite is the running gag in which Vagueness replies to threads that already moved out of the first page weeks ago.

no, that's a combination of having other people that want to use the computer, being busy, and having other things I do in my spare time; also you're exaggerating

Anyway, Malagate, I, by no means, am saying people should refrain themselves from replying to existing threads, no matter how old they are. My comment was supposed to just be an humorous jab at Vague (who does do that a bit more often than most). I'm sorry if I didn't make it evident.

Oh, man, ODST Firefight was the source of so much laughter. "I got this, I got this I... RUN AWAY!"

He once stealthily got killed 5 times in a row by a Hammer-wielding Brute Chieftain in ODST Firefight before we kindly pointed out his corpse (since the first death) had Flame Grenades.

And by stealthily I mean we all knew what was going on from across the map. Obviously.

Dag, we need to play more.

At the very least, we can cooperatively kick some alien butt together in fantastic ways.

Half the game is spent with me trying to remember how to play the game.

Me saying something just for you to realize that "OMG, HE'S STILL IN THE PARTY?!"

So far, there has been no thread I skipped over in DBO, but sometimes a skip a few in HBO. Problem is, I keep track of what I skip by the read/unread state of the thread (i.e. if any post is marked as read, I wasn't skipping it). As such, sometimes a post from that same thread creeps up alone at the top of the page, so I fail to realize I'm skipping its thread until I click on it, by which point I marked it as read, breaking my tracking method.

Then I briefly collapse all threads and switch to table view (so that clicking the title opens the entire thread). I start at the bottom of the thread list, middle-clicking each one until I get to the top. Then I just right-click the current tab in Chrome and select "close tabs to the right". Bam - all of the posts are now purple and I can easily distinguish new posts as they appear.
