there's an idea floating around that the 2nd chest door is tied to the exploding thralls, not the shriekers.

new test tonight: kill the first shrieker from the safe room, go invis past the second one, then turn around and kill it asap, then get through the door.

I watched Datto's group run it this afternoon and it appeared that their current theory is that the timer on that door is tied to the death of the yellow-titled cursed thrall - the "dredge ______" something or other.

I pulled a warlock bond + radiant mats & hunter cloak + radiant mats on my secondary characters last week. So I know you can get more than just Mats from it.

It is confirmed to drop both raid set pieces and exotics. So you can get things like Deathsinger's Treads from an easily-accessible chest, but not actually from the Deathsinger.

I've managed to grab the second chest with just one other person but whoever runs for it has to stack agility to make it in time as far as I can tell.

I know that first chest is easylicious to grab, but is it confirmed that it can drop armor? I've opened that chest six times now and received Radiant Energy (x2) five of those six times, finally getting Radiant Shards (x2) on my last character this morning.

I basically keep it around just for the crucible.

Well, to be fair, that's half the game for me. I have crucible gear and PvE gear. Really, my warlock main is my PvE loadout, and my alt is my crucible loadout.

I tried it on my Perun's fire. Still 300 attack, so I sharded it. Since the gear is only level 31, and I already reached that I will not be participating this time around. I'm still bummed that all the gear I worked so hard for last time is now demoted to blue status. I basically keep it around just for the crucible.

At this point the only reason to participate is if you want weapons drops.

I helped Ragashingo grab the 1st chest on his Alt last night after everyone left last night. The first chest is simple to grab with Alts if you don't have time to finish the raid.

Steps:
1. Check Chest Spawn #1

If no Chest:
2. Check Chest Spawn #2

If no Chest:
3. Wipe and restart at Step 1
