The sheer repetitive farming involved with that would drive me nuts. Also, Activision is probably twirling their evil mustache in glee now that they have found something almost as addictive as WoW.

He'd still have to hit 20 with them (reply)

Having just powerleveled a friend to 20, I can attest to the sheer insanity of the task. It did take less than 3 regular days of gaming, but more than one.

I would assume he has no job (not a criticism, just a matter of necessity to pull this off). I can attest you could get a character to level 20 in one day of gaming, I was able to get a character to 16 on a day when my car was in the shop.

Level 32 hit (reply)

I'm guessing he vaulted all the gear to get them to the appropriate light level. Only have to have one set of appropriate gear between all 5 characters.

Yeah, that's why I said he had to get them to 20 (So they could even wear the Main's vaulted armor). The other part is that you need three armor drops from the raid, which aren't a guarantee, and even so, three runs could have given him three Chest armors, so he'd have to wipe them and start two new characters to get the Gauntlets/Legs.

If nothing else, it's definitely a much faster way to get Radiant materials at the moment, but seven or eight hours of work just for a Raid Run is so ridiculous, that this guy probably needs an intervention...

Level 32 hit (reply)

-It takes a minimum of six hours to get to 20 through Crucible/Story missions. With two alts, that's anywhere from 12-15 hours of nonstop gaming to level them up high enough to wear the Main's gear.

-Have to run the raid.

-Hope that you get the correct armor pieces or shards.

3 Warlocks, each run the raid. Delete two, and re-level to 20, and run the raid again. Repeat.

A. How does that even work.
B. Is there some incentive for deleting a character?

I'm guessing it's because new characters can run the the raids again and receive rewards again, whereas usually you'd have to wait until the following week after a completion.

Funnel all drops from the constantly new alternate characters to the main never deleted one.

Not my idea of fun, but it's a loophole for those eager/desperate enough.

B. Is there some incentive for deleting a character?
C. How much time was wasted to achieve that!
D. Why Warlocks...
E. Is there an insta-everything shortcut that I'm missing here?
F. I think Bungie wanted us to hit 32. It might be even more, come the Wolves.
