This is true, (to an extent) if you are referring to Combat Evolved, however Combat Evolved can be forgiven because re-tracing those locations was actually relevant to the story.


Destiny, having barley any story at all, does not have that luxury. An area in Destiny is not very different from it's "free play" form to its "strike" form or "mission" form.
