Supposedly, if you put another disk in/load a different game, it fixes that issue...

You can also just hit the Guide button, then hit the Menu button and Quit the Destiny application. Wait a moment, then re-launch it. Works every time for me.

That is what I have been doing as well and it has been working for me.

All I get is that bloody 'please wait' symbol thingie in the lower right corner.
