I really don't trust the Speaker. He is a creepy guy. Why we no see his face?

Is the shader seller his missus? Why does she only get the end of a corridor? That's a very strange setup. Maybe she isn't his missus and is merely a rival and cannot get a proper shop because the Speaker has connections.

I feel there is something very corrupt about the Destiny world. I don't get a sense of hope.
